The Snow Cabin: December 1 to March 15 and June 15 to August 15: SEK 1500 per night, otherwise SEK 1300 per night. Christmas Dec 22-Jan 5: SEK 2000 per night.

The Moose and Fox cabins: Dec 1 to March 15 and June 15 to Aug 15: SEK 1200 per night, otherwise SEK 800 per night. Christmas Dec 22-Jan 5: SEK 1500 per night.

A 50% non-refundable deposit must be payed 30 days before your stay.

Bedlinen, towels, tea and coffee are included. Ask us about weekly discounts! Discounted price for monthly rents: SEK 32 000 per month which includes electricity and a weekly cleaning. Not available from Dec 15-March 15. Companies are welcome to book for work in the area. 

FAQ

Q. What will we need to bring?

This destination is all about the outdoors, so bring warm clothes and shoes in winter. If you plan on going fishing in summer, bring your fishing gear. 

Q. How do we get there?

The nearest airport is Kiruna. Make sure to book well in advance, especially if you plan to come during the winter season. If the flights are sold out, try Luleå, or Kittilä/Rovaniemi in Finland. Kiruna and Gällivare has train stations. We do recommend a rental car, but going by bus is possible. Do check the timetable carefully at Länstrafiken Norrbotten. We also have private transfers from any airport. 

Q. What about the area?

This is a destination for those who want to be close to the wilderness but still with easy access. 

We are in Masugnsbyn, a village an hour from Kiruna. The Snow Cabin is located on a village road just off route 395

and a huge forest starts right behind the house. If you meet anyone when you are hiking here, it's most likely a local, not a group of tourists. Good chances to spot the wildlife. No supermarket or other amenities in the village, but only 20 minutes by car to a supermarket.

Q. What is included with the price?

If you choose to stay at our place, bedlinen, towels, coffee and tea are always included. Rickhard will also meet up with you and answer questions about the area or activities. But if you want a vacation with everything included, we will set you up with private transfers to/from the airport or train station as well as local transport, all activities included, daily cleaning, winter clothes/shoes in your size that you get to keep, meals of your choice and so on - everything is possible.
